Every person you forgive heals one of your wounds. I’ve learned this on my healing journey as I process my life.
1. Learn how to forgive. I always try to find a reason I’m thankful for that person, then pray saying that they’re forgiven and let it go.
2. Don’t let the sun set while you’re angry. If you go to bed upset, you’ll probably have upsetting dreams and wake up angry and tired. It’s all a chain reaction. It’s also really unhealthy.
3. Is it worth it? As humans, we tend to get easily upset. Ask yourself if this is worth being upset about (hint: it’s not)
4. Grudges are toxic. When holding a grudge it can make your body physically weaker. Help yourself out and forgive to help you heal.
