The Minimalist To Do List

2020 feels like a big year. It’s the start of a new decade and everyone is excited about the new possibilities.

While I love possibilities and goal setting, it all gets a little overwhelming.

It’s a proven fact that slow integration of habit will make it last longer. So, if your goal is to do 10 push-ups every day … just start with one a day.

I find this concept very freeing.

I used to be the person with a long, complicated to do list. So complicated that I would literally avoid doing it!

I now focus on what I call the “minimalist to do list” where I minimize each task or work smarter, not harder.

For example, my end goal is to walk 30 minutes a day. I find that very overwhelming from where I am now. So, I minimized it to a 10 minute walk every day. It sounds way more doable and I still get a walk in! One day, I’ll make it to the end goal, but this is what works now.

Don’t get overwhelmed by your resolutions. Do what works now.

Great suggestion, Steph!!! I love this concept of starting small and building on your goals. It definitely takes the pressure off too ❤
