I do see color and it’s Beautiful

I hear a lot of people use the micro aggression “ I don’t see color” as a way to “prove” they aren’t racist. I think that saying is overused and worn out. So, I want to start by saying that I DO see color and it’s BEAUTIFUL. Black skin tones are beautiful and worthy.

I love people of every race, religion, identity and class. I do see color and I support the black community.

I do see color AND I believe that black lives matter, which ISN’T debatable. I do see color and I’m learning to reteach myself and the world how white privilege has been rooted in the system we have in place.

Yes, I see color, and I also see a beautiful opportunity for change and revolution.
